New User Setup in Accelo | 101 Series

Login and Password Setup

Your username should have been provided to you in order to logon.

Login from here: https://[companyname].accelo.com

If this is your first time logging in, choose “Lost your Password?” and follow the steps to reset your password.

  • An email will arrive with the title of Password Recovery from support@accelo.com. If you don’t see it within a few minutes, please check your spam.
  • Strong passwords are required.
  • If you are presented with any integration options such as Google etc, please ignore these for now.

Time Zone

When you first log in, if you have a distributed team, you may be presented with an popup that your current time zone doesn’t match the company. If this is expected, please click ‘Update Time Zone’. If you don’t expect this, it might be worth checking your computer timezone settings.

Note: you may also see this message when travelling – if so, please ‘update timezone’ for best use.

Email Verification

When you first log in, you might see a banner at the top of screen explaining that your email is not verified. If this is the case, no emails or alerts will send from Accelo.

Please select the ‘Verify’ button, and then click the link in the email you receive shortly after. If this is completed correctly, the banner should no longer appear after you next log out and back in.

Preferences

Once logged in, go to your initial in the upper right and choose Preferences.

Request Inbox Settings

Add any inboxes related to your role to your included types, based on whether you are involved with any ‘central’ inboxes such as marketing@, support@, accounts@ or similar

Work Week

If you need to adjust your work week, do so here. For example, Part Time days.

Vacation/Holidays

Add any existing holidays you have scheduled to your calendar. This is important to show what days you are unavailable from a utilisation standpoint.  Just click on a day and it will bring up a pop up for you to fill out.

Notification Settings

For now, we generally recommend people to turn all of these to OFF.

You can use the Turn off Notifications toggle to change the entire section. You can choose to turn some of these back on if you like once you are comfortable with what they mean and how they reflect day to day operation.

Integrations

  • Go back to your initial in the top right and choose Integrations > Google > Connect your Google account.
  • Go to Gmail as appropriate and fill in the information needed and choose connect.
  • Fill in any appropriate details.
